๐ค BTS Jin(์ง) Shines on The Tonight Show — And Shares a Glimpse of His Childhood
๐๏ธ “Expect Not Just My Songs, But Also My Visuals!” — Jin on Jimmy Fallon
BTS member Jin made a dazzling appearance on NBC’s popular late-night show, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, marking a major step in his return to global activities following military service. In a delightful twist, Jin took over part of the show by switching roles with Fallon, showing off his humor and charisma in an impromptu hosting segment. “Please look forward not only to my singing skills, which are pretty decent, but most of all—my face up close,” Jin quipped, sparking laughter. Fallon responded, “You’re the best. You’re handsome, and you know it.”
Jin also shared a funny story from his own reality show Run Jin(๋ฌ๋ ค๋ผ ์์ง), where he had the chance to meet Hollywood legend Tom Cruise. “It was such a surreal moment to meet someone who shaped my cultural life growing up,” Jin said. When asked if he had ever wanted to do action films, Jin replied playfully, “I’ve thought about it… but not like Tom Cruise!”
On the show, Jin performed the title track “Don’t Say You Love Me” from his second solo mini album, Echo(์์ฝ). He shared, “With my first solo album ‘Happy’, I wasn’t sure what to express since I had just finished military service. But with ‘Echo’, I was able to pour in more of my feelings. It’s filled with upbeat tracks I created while planning my tour.”
He’s also set to hold a special fan event, Hi-Seokjin(ํ์ด-์์ง), in New York on May 23, and will kick off his solo fan concert tour RUNSEOKJIN EP.TOUR across nine cities, starting in Goyang, Korea next month.
